St. Patrick’s Festival & Mo Cultivation present Mo Cultivation Urban Takeover, St. Patrick’s Night, Thursday March 17, the very best of Ireland’s cutting-edge urban music scene, live and free in the heart of Dublin city featuring Monjola, Celaviedmai, Nealo, Sim Simma Soundsystem, The X Collective, Collab with 1000 Beasts x KhakiKid x DeCarteret, plus Gliders, with R3D on the decks & many special guests.
Mo Cultivation, the brand-new Dublin based arts platform showcasing the very best of urban culture from Ireland and around the world, launches with a massive free event on the evening of Thursday March 17 as part of St. Patrick’s Festival 2022. Mo Cultivation is led by Bekah Molony (artist manager, booker and visual artist), R3D (founder of R3D’s House, DJ and artist) and Iman Dagari (event organiser and creative director).

Mo Cultivation Urban Takeover is the urban arts collective first ever live event, and the kickass takeover of Spiegeltent Mór at St. Patrick’s Festival Quarter includes full-band headline sets from hip-hop artists Monjola, Celaviedmai and Nealo. The evening kicks off with a soulful gathering from The X Collective artists featuring Toshín, Zapho, Siofra and Jesse (Cooks But We’re Chefs), Mutant Vinyl, Jess Kav, Tadgh and Shy Mascot. An explosive drill set from Gliders will be followed by a Mo Cultivation curated collaboration between 1000 Beasts, DeCarteret and KhakiKid, all hailed as artists to watch in 2022. Sim Simma Soundsystem will close out the night - one of Ireland's foremost music trailblazers in Caribbean, Latin, and African music. The collective will host a dance party like no other with an assortment of DJs and surprise MCs.
Mo Cultivation Urban Takeover is a free event taking place in Spiegeltent Mór at St. Patrick’s Festival Quarter, National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks, Dublin 7, on Thursday March 17. Doors open 6pm and show commences 7pm. The event is strictly over 18s, and is free, no ticket is required. Entry to Spiegeltent Mór for this show will be on a first come, first served basis, subject to capacity. Entry to Festival Quarter is open to all throughout March 16-20, where festival goers can party or chill with the very best in Irish street food, bars, cafes, and a host of free events. Festival Quarter is open to all ages until 6pm and is strictly over 18s from 6pm daily.
